Mallory RadfordMallory Radford: I believe there is something to be said about a person who can provide comfort to anyone no matter what the situation. Throughout my life I have witnessed this gift in the many nurses who have assisted various family members, friends, and even myself in times of need. I cannot believe I have been given the opportunity to do the same. It is a chance to “pay it forward” and I am eager to get involved in every aspect of nursing that I can. Starting here with BSU’s Student Nursing Association, I hope to keep all of us student nurses informed as the newsletter editor and look forward to keeping the memories made this scholastic year alive as historian.

Teresa RiceTeresa Rice: Hi everyone!  I am ADN student who will be continuing on towards my BSN.  I am also pursuing a 2nd degree in Psychology (not sure what I will do with it yet).  I have been a member of SNA since 2008 and have found it to be a great experience.  I am married to a supportive husband and have a teenage daughter and preteen son.  My life is never dull and as many of you will agree..Nursing school just adds to the excitement.  I enjoy scrapbooking and photography when I have time.  I hope to work in Labor and Delivery/Postpartum and also obtain licensure as a Certified Lactation Consultant.

Jolie PharisJolie Pharis: I am going into my 3rd semester. I like to spend time with my family doing just about anything from fishing to watching movies to art fairs. I don't know just yet what field of Nursing I want to pursue. I am hoping going through clinicals will help with that. I am also a Super Hero on my days off. Cool

Robert WhitakerRobert Whitaker: I am so happy to be going into a profession that cares about people. I currently work at St. Luke's Meridian in theTelemetry Unit. Cardiac nursing fascinates me. It is amazing how electrical conduction in the body is so similar to a CMOS transistor! In my free time I love to spend time with my family, watch movies, play on the computer, and hang out with friends.

If you have any ideas for our site, drop me a line!
